iPad Mini scanner attachment and sheath (Does not include iPad)
- Cycle counting. You can upload a full inventory list or a filtered list to the iPad that is scanner enabled. The user can then scan the inventory tag that is generated from Pacific Solutions and the user can enter the counted quantity via the iPad user interface. You can also update bin location. Once the count is completed, the counted list is imported back into the system and it prepares an exceptions report showing you system quantity alongside the newly counted quantity.
- Delivery. The scanner enabled iPad can see all “Staged” pick tickets and the warehouse manager can scan individual pick ticket items. The iPad will verify that the items being scanned are indeed associated with the job. Once everything is “Picked” the warehouse manager can also mark the items as “Delivered” from the iPad. Its also possible to get a delivery signature and photograph the items on the delivery vehicle or in the installer's truck. Whoever picked up the materials can sign the iPad and the signature is stored in the system.
For the iPad, we recommend the iPad Mini. If there is WiFi in the warehouse, the iPad will NOT need the cellular service. The scanner attachment plugs into the Lightning Port and it has a ruggedized sheath that holds the scanner in place offering protection for the iPad.
