​What is Tableau?
Tableau is a data visualization application that allows quick access to interactive charts, graphs and business analytics.  It is a separate cloud-based service the extracts data from your cloud or on-premise JobRunner or FloorManager server, delivering information in a web accessible and easy to use format.
 
What is available?
Currently we have connected Tableau to the Invoiced data only.  We offer invoiced revenue only metrics by Customer, Market Source, Market Sector, Product Type, Labor Type and by date range.
 
Can Pacific Solutions create a custom graph?
Yes, with the introduction of Tableau, we expect requests for many reporting metrics and filters.  Please consult with Pacific Solutions about the feasibility and time required to create something for your company.  Custom graphs are fee-based depending on the time needed for development. Any custom reports will be released to other Pacific Solutions Tableau users.

​System Requirements
 

Your Pacific Solutions system must be running on FileMaker 19 database licenses and be on the waiting list for the v22 build of JobRunner or FloorManager.

Your company must always be current on Pacific Solutions’ maintenance and always running a compatible version of JobRunner or FloorManager and Claris FileMaker (the database engine). For security purposes, you must always maintain a current SSL certificate for all external connectors such as DocuSign, Tableau, Avalara, JotForm etc.

Before you sign up for the Tableau, please make sure that your system is running on FileMaker 19 or later, and that you are signed up for a JobRunner/FloorManager update to v22. To request an upgrade and update, please review the hardware specs and complete the Hardware Spec Form found here:
